City of Boise – Historic Preservation Plan Community Survey

The City of Boise is working to update the 1979 Historic Preservation Plan to make it a relevant guiding document for current and future historic preservation initiatives and practices for the Historic Preservation Commission and City of Boise. The city is working with historic preservation consultants Northwest Vernacular to update the document, which will include reviewing the city’s existing program, gathering community input, and making recommendations on a path forward. This survey is one way we’re gathering community input to learn more about the historic places that are important to residents and how to improve the city’s work in regard to those places.
